We had dinner here for my husband's birthday. It was absolutely divine, the food and service were excellent and the atmosphere was just right. Loved the pink blouses the waitresses wear and the home made caramel ice cream is to die for. We would definitely recommend it and can't wait to go back. more

This was our second successive year at the Tollgate and intend making it an annual event whilst we attend Badminton Horse Trials. The Inn is very pretty, serves delicious food, excellent service, very approachable staff, lovely cosy bedrooms albeit the bathroom is a tad small. What more could you ask for after a long day on your feet! more

having waited more than 40 mins for our lunch we found the food bland and tasteless with little regard to flavour - not an experience we expected after reading the website. After informing the waitress that both the wait and the food were disappointing she brought the bill and said nothing more. No return visit for us. more
