we stayed at Kariega in early november 2010 for 3 nights at Ukhozi Lodge. The lodge is graded as a 4 1/2 star. The accomodation was nice but I would argue that the rating is gained very much from the service received and the quality of the food throughout the day. Ukhozi Lodge is beautiful. Your own cabin, with private plunge pool and decking overlooking the spectacular scenery. The food served at the main lodge is outstanding and the staff friendly. The two game drives a day are expertly guided by knowledgable rangers and the size of the reserve means that your chance of seeing the wildlife is very good.
