We stayed one night at the overpriced Ranch but that was not my complaint. The food at the expensive restaurant was so horrific I could not even tell what I was eating. It made me sick for a few days afterward. I would stay away from this place if I had it to do over again. The Inn is far... more

Everything in Death Valley was more delightful than expected. The inn made our photo safari special. It is a true oasis with a serene garden holding a central location in this desert park. Every evening we sat on the stone terrace for a beverage and sunset. Our room (a bit pricey) was clean, well kept and furnished with everything we... more

it was 115' when we pulled into the Ranch carpark and unfortunately the air conditioning in our room was not quite up to the challenge. However the rooms were adequate and functional, which was all we really required. Service in the bar on site was fantastic, as it was in the steakhouse for dinner. Breakfast was average. Having said all... more

We stayed 3 nights at the Inn in a Deluxe room. Upon arrival, the bellhop immediately assisted with the luggage and stored it for us until the room was ready. If there is not a place to park on the upper level or thru the tunnel, the bellhops do offer complimentary parking service. Room was nicely designed with a comfortable... more

Summary We stayed in the Inn which is very basic accomodation as it was out of season. Overall it was a lovely stay but it was quite expensive for what it was. Location You're 10mins from Zabriskies Point for amazing sun rises and Artist's Drive for the Sunset. Then you are just South of centre so can do a lot... more

Last week my husband and I were in Vegas and decided to visit Death Valley for a night. Boy were we glad with our choice. After being in Las Vegas for 4 nights the peace and serenity of Death Valley was wonderful. We stayed at the Furnace Creek Ranch. We arrived at the hotel late and the nice young man... more

We stayed for two nights with our 3 children. This was the second time that we have stayed here. We had forgotten just how cramped the supposedly deluxe two queen rooms were. The cost was extraordinary for this level of accommodation well in excess of $200 even before the extra cost for the roll away was added. To have had... more

We stayed at Furnace Creek Inn (seperate from the ranch) on our way from Yosemite to Vegas. After driving through the arid landscape of death valley the Furnace Creek Inn appeared as an oasis in the desert. I couldnt believe such a beautiful place was located out there in the middle of nowhere. The hotel was immaculate and the rooms... more

We did not like this place at all. We were assigned our room and found two beds, so we returned to the young girl at the front desk who informed us we had actually been 'upgraded'. She was not very kind or helpful. The restaurant there is incredibly overpriced ($13 for a hamburger!). This hotel is the only one in... more
