Cabins at Denali are just that- the cabins are roomy with a first floor bathroom, living area and porch which is RIGHT on the Nenana river. There is a small fridge and microwave, but limited dishery. There is no phone. Upstairs there is a large sleeping area with four queen size beds. The cabins are an easy (half mile) walk to the more commercial strip where there are several large hotels, as well as a variety of tourist shops and two very small grocery stores. Across the highway and river is a walking path which brings you into Denali National Park. It is a 20 minute pleasant walk to the visitor access center; if you are willing to walk, you don't need a car because the owner provides shuttle service to the train at arrival and departure.
