Cabins at Denali are just that- the cabins are roomy with a first floor bathroom, living area and porch which is RIGHT on the Nenana river. There is a small fridge and microwave, but limited dishery. There is no phone. Upstairs there is a large sleeping area with four queen size beds. The cabins are an easy (half mile) walk to the more commercial strip where there are several large hotels, as well as a variety of tourist shops and two very small grocery stores. Across the highway and river is a walking path which brings you into Denali National Park. It is a 20 minute pleasant walk to the visitor access center; if you are willing to walk, you don't need a car because the owner provides shuttle service to the train at arrival and departure. If you come by car, there is on sie parking. All linens and basic toiletries are provided. There is coin operated laundry on site.
