If you don't mind the hostel experience and "roughing" it a little, this is a good place to experience Denali. We stayed in Splater Rock Cabin, the Cabin itself was lovely. Everything made of pine which was a nice feature and it heated up quickly so we were not cold even though it was September. $70 total for 3 adults in our own room without a bath....sparse but clean and less than 50 yards from a lovely stream. Lovely setting and only about 10 minutes away from Denali Park.
