We stayed in the riverfront cabins in June for two nights. Was glad we were not there any longer. No blackout curtains. The room is very, very small with one double bed and one twin bed. With two suitcases, the room was full!! We never could get the temperature comfortable in the room, either too hot or too cold. The... more

I stayed here in 2006 (just joined TripAdvisor recently though) and my experience was enjoyable enough that I wanted to make sure others knew about this place. The cabins are quaint but clean but take a little walking to. I traveled with my father who has had both knees replaced and there wasn't any parking close to the cabin itself,... more

These are small cabins right on the river, about 8 miles south of the park entrance. These cabins do have comforts of home (tv, bathroom, heat, etc) but they are still cabins. They are not overly large. The heat is simply a gas heater on the wall. Depending on the time of year, shoud be sufficient. Remember your here for... more

We were not looking for much since we would be gone all day hiking in Denali. This place delivers only problems. On arrival we find our bathroom door (pocket type) is stuck open. I inform the front desk and tell them we haven't even unpacked. Their response is the handyman will be there in 20 min. So we go for... more

This was one of the more economical places to stay in Denali and we were very pleased with it. The room was a normal motel type of room but the setting was quite lovely. It was by the river and another resort but not in the mess of upscale resorts. We had breakfast provided which was self-serve but varied. We... more

Our friend booked these cabins for our trip to Denali. What a joy to find them so nice. The cabins are located just a few miles south of the Denali entrance. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the park entrance. The cabins had two decks looking out over the river. We enjoyed a couple bottles of wine... more

We stayed three nights this month, in one of the "riverfront" cabins. They are nothing special, but you're not considering a cabin for luxury, right? I recommend skipping the extra charge for riverfront - the river is not very scenic at that point. The location is decent for park exploring (6 miles of highway from the park and "Glitter Gulch"),... more

This is a nice place to stay a night or two. The cabin is adequately furnished but the blinds were not room darkening. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable. The boardwalk that connects all of them made it a bit noisy in the mornings when everyone was heading for breakfast. And be careful in the shower if someone... more

After a long drive from Anchorage we checked into a cabin that needed a deep cleaning. These cabins have wood interiors and the wall and ceiling were covered in dust above the heater. The shower had mold on the sides plus the shower head didn't work. We complained about the shower and they gave my husband a shower head and... more
