We stayed in the hotel part. It was very nice and very new and quite comfortable. The balconies overlooking the river were the best part- a nice place to enjoy coffee in the morning and a drink at the end of the day. There is very lIttle road noise at the hotel part of the Denali Grizzly bear. A nice... more

If your traveling in the Denali area the New Cedar hotel at Denali Grizzly Bear Bear Cabins and Campgrounds is the place to stay. New, clean rooms, decorated tastefully with Alaskana Decor. I liked the peaceful balcony best, overlooking the Nenana river, the sound of the river put me right to sleep. A must! more

We stayed in a "premium cabin" on the river. The river is down a rather deep gorge at this side of the property so it cannot be seen. The one room cabin was clean with 2 queen beds, a dining table, coffee, sink and bathroom. The curtained windows all faced the gorge more or less, so it was fairly private... more

We spent three nights in the "Fisherman" cabin, site G. When we checked in there were no other cabins occupied. This cabin was in the worst location of all the cabins. It is located in the corner of several cabins directly behind one cabin. There is absolutely no view from this location. The interior of the cabin is rustic and... more

This was the best price place that I found in Denali. We stayed in a cabin. It was very bare essentials, no frills, you get what you pay for. They had a shuttle to pick us up at the train station (for a fee), which was convenient. It should be known that this hotel is 6 miles away from the... more

Stayed in one of the "one bedroom" cabins on the river. There is no door on the bedroom, and the beds were pretty darn uncomfortable, plus there were no shades on the windows. In the Land of the Midnight Sun this borders on lunacy. Being next to the river was nice (and there is a great hike right across the... more

We stayed here for 3 days in July. We stayed in the Gambler's cabin (3 people). The cabin itself was adorable, however the bathroom was tiny and the lighting was very poor. Beds were comfy and I really appreciated the coffee pot but I wished it had a mini fridge. The view, however, of the Nenana river was terrific and... more

The friendly and quick check in procedure was pleasant, the rooms were nice and comfortable. It was a great pleasure to have a cup of coffee on the balcony after a day trip. The breakfast was served in time and the quality was good. It was a place to come back. more

Arrived to a tent cabin that was white on the outside but gray inside due to black mold covering all the walls. Tears in tent large enough for small mammals to get in let alone mosquitos. Rusty bed frames. Garbage in fire grate from prior user. Tent cabin perched precariously on steep, eroding, dirt hill; no steps to get up... more
