We stayed the night, (12 in total, 3 rooms, me, my wife and son stayed in one cable, with private bath) The other two families had slightly larger room, both with private baths. But our room was newer and cleaner and very nice. It is a short up-hill hike to the cabins from the resteraunt. They do not have potable... more

The Denali Salmon Bake - The restaurant has a relaxed, Alaskan log cabin ambience. Banjo country background music adds a distinctive local flavour. There is a choice of more than 20+ micro brews. With so many mouth-watering options The Denali Salmon Bake menu was hard to choose from. We opted for half pound Bearing Sea King Crab Legs served with... more

not a bad place much less expensive than other hotels in the area, all the people who worked there were very nice, just not well informed as they hire alot of collage kids for the summer and more that once we asked a question and got "i dont kow" but we just kept asking till somone knew! Food was pretty... more

I guess for Alaska standards, it wasn't a bad place to stay. We paid $80 to stay in their tent cabins, which was too much for me, but my partner was sick of tent camping so I had no choice. It was the cheapest accomodations we could find near Denali. It was pretty central, there is a courtesy shuttle to... more

This was a great place to stay on a budget.  The staff was nice and very welcoming.  The food in the restaurant was good.  The shuttle was a nice feature.  The rooms were clean although a little rustic.  I enjoy staying at 4 to 5 star hotels on vacation and I felt very comfortable in the cabins. more

I stayed at the Salmon Bake for two nights. I reserved it via their website and when my train got to Denali they had someone waiting to pick me up. The cabin was bigger than I thought it would be with two beds, satellite TV, a fridge, and a bathroom with a fairly new shower. The location was right in... more

When I arrived I was very happy to see that all of the staff in the restaurant were so friendly. I ate all of my meals at the restaurant and was suprised at the upscale feel and flavor of the cuisine. The menu was quite diverse and I felt for the remote location the price was a great value. I... more

I was in Denali for an extended stay (work-related) and needed reasonable accommodations in the vicinty of the park. There was no way I was going to be able to afford the cruiseline hotels (which cost more than what I would have been making per day!). But, Denali Park Salmon Bake and Lodges had economy rooms that met my needs... more

I stayed at the Salmon Bake because of the price. For and economy cabin priced at $69 a night I was not expecting much more than just a place to sleep. I was surprised at how clean and nice the rooms were and the shared bathrooms were very nice too. The bonus to my stay was that hotel's restaurant was... more

I booked an economy cabin for three nights which we shared with my parents. The cabins were cute and clean inside. We discovered upon arrival though that parking was a problem (we drive a full-size truck). They have a small gravel area that is made to hold about 4-5 small cars for 12 cabins. We knew upfront that the economy... more
