This is pleasant accommodation well located in the park. It’s a short walk from a decent café, restaurant and gift shop and provides basic facilities which is what we were looking for in the park at a decent price. Feels a bit like halls of residence and the walls are thin and the rooms tight, but this is a national... More

We didn't actually stay here - we stayed in St. Mary's up the road - but we did eat supper here one evening. Be sure to ask for a window table with a view of the lake - the view is worth eating here all by itself - and a reservation doesn't hurt. The evening we ate at the hotel,... More

First off, I'd like to point out that most of the complaints on here are from people who have no idea what they're getting themselves into when they come to Glacier National Park. Personally, I came to this hotel to be in the most remote location and to HIKE. I didn't come here expecting a five star luxury hotel with... More

The Lodge is typical of many of the National Parks we stayed in. The Lodge is located on the shores of the beautiful Many Glacier Lake. Sunsets are unbelievable on the back patio. The lobby is grand. The rooms are ordinary. Our room was large, but had no easy chair for reading. There was no where to read and the... More

My friend hit it right on the head before I even went there. She was employed by GPI for one summer at Many Glacier Hotel. She told me that the food was terrible every season because they don't have to worry about repeat business. Therefore they can serve inadequate food at an exorbitant price. She also told me that the... More

We stayed the first night that the park & hotel opened for the season! We had booked for 2 nights to get the full enjoyment of the park but around 10am our second morning, thw power went dead. The power never came back up so we had to find another place to stay. Unfortunetly the hotel phone lines were also... More

We loved our stay at Many Glacier Hotel and can not wait to go back to see the remodeled rooms. The rooms had everything you need...you should not be in your room while you are in Glacier National Park. We loved sitting on the deck looking out at the mountains. The hotel staff was very helpful and went out of... More

Pros: 1. Few hotels in the world offer the views of Many Glacier. The vistas are incredible and wildlife was in abundance when we stayed there. Including Grizzlies visible from the deck. 2. Excellent hiking and horseback riding trails from the Hotel. We saw a Bull Moose from a few hundred feet and a Black Bear from a similar distance... More

When visiting Glacier National Park, you have to stay here for the views (which are spectacular) and the proximity to the trails. However, the five star view and proximity come with the rooms, food and service of a Comfort Inn/Econolodge. If you are unaccustomed to traveling mountain roads, it is your only choice and they know it. While you can... More

Many Glacier Hotel is really a relic from an earlier era...think 1920's...with rustic charm which comes through best in its soaring lobby and Alpine exterior. Inside, the walls are paper thin, the bathrooms are at best primitive, with claw foot tubs in which you have to balance precariously to take a shower, and sinks hanging from the bedroom walls. Forget... More
