We stayed at Many Glacier Hotel for 2 nights. We felt that the lodge was expensive for the accommodations, but it is in an excellent location. We ended up getting two twin beds because they were out of queen beds for our preference for a lake view balcony room. The room was dated, sink and bathroom were very old, as... More

The hotel itself was clean with beautiful views and good service. I really liked the old pictures of glaciers in the NP that lined the hallway in the lobby. We had a room on the top floor in the corner under the eaves. A big windy storm was blowing all night and I kept jolting awake, thinking the room had... More

My friends and I try to stay inside the National Parks because we feel it gives a better experience. On our trip to Glacier we could not get a room at first at Many Glacier but we called everyday for a cancellation and it paid off. Yes it is old but has such character! The views and location are outstanding.... More

This fabulous old rustic hotel has wonderful history as its pedigree. Set in one of the most beautiful mountain valleys in the world. Refurbishing has managed to retain the unique character. One huge and continuing problem is the choice of chefs who can't seem to understand that people come here for the Montana bounty. No rainbow trout or white fish... More

This review should have been posted months ago. I am so sorry! We stayed in Glacier back in September 2012. Hopefully this will convince you to stay here! Now, I get irritated at people who complain about room size, style, type, looking old, etc. Hey, this is a National Park hotel - it is NOT the Ritz Carlton! Go to... More

The exterior of the hotel and views are BEAUTIFUL. The rooms, at least in the area we stayed, were VERY out dated. For over $200 a night, I would expect a lot better. The carpet was green, indoor, outdoor carpet, the furniture and decor from the 1970's, the bathroom very much like a cheap motel. The bed had crumbs on... More

I was here in July 2012, enjoying the wonderful mountain air and the beautiful sights that are Glacier National Park. While I was shopping in the Many Glaciers Gift Shop, I saw a beautiful hand painted ornament with a mountain goat on it. There were three different ones, a Bear (blue in color), a Wolf-?(red in color) and the goat... More

It is unbelievable to see places such as this nestled in the United States. I really don't know why anyone would leave the states because there are so many treasures. I was enchanted by this place. The main lounge area was beautifully decorated and quaint. I could sit and stare at the lake all day. I felt recharged and relaxed.

Staying in one of the balcony rooms overlooking the lake, you get the feel of how the privileged of generations past spent their vacations, arriving at the Park by the Great Norther Empire Builder and by an old red bus from the station. You can easily overlook the tiny room with no TV and instead enjoy the beautiful sunrises and... More

We spent two nights in Many Glacier Hotel in late August, staying in an unrenovated room located on the floor right above the lobby, facing away from the lake (Room 225). The room was comfortable but pretty basic (except for a lovely claw footed bathtub), and, obviously, a lake front room would have been better, but we were very pleased... More
