We thought this was a great place to stay. Much cheaper than staying in the Canyon and it gets you away from the hustle and bustle for a while. It is only 1 mile from the park entrance. We found it clean. We read some of the reviews after we were there, and we don't agree at all. The continental... more

This hotel caters almost solely for visitors to the Grand Canyon National Park. Its a standard large motel - very impersonal but functional. There didnt seem to be much competition around so it gets lots of business. Reasonable room, although initially we were allocated one on the ground floor which had a patio window and terrace that opened directly onto... more

Picked this place based it TripAdvisor. For some reason it is listed as a B&B but far from it, it has hundreds of rooms. It's clean but really worn out from the masses and many things are broken. For instance we were on the top floor and the ceiling had a big stain on it from a room leak probably.... more

Staying here is not the best use for your hard-earned money!!! The room was very dated. If you travel with current technology i.e. computers, blackberry devices, etc, there are not enough plug-ins to recharge for the next day. And, no wireless support to help migrate the next few days. I propped a book under the old and failing armoire that... more

how come we are one of the only ones that seemed to have a good stay here, could it be the same reason as all the 10 hotels we stayed at during the last 2 weeks on our 2 week road trip down route66? and all the other holidays world wide over the past 15 years, now' i could be a... more

I booked our room last minute on Expedia. We get there and there was no record of you reservation, which I half expected so I had it on my laptop. The clerk books us into a room which was of a "higher" level than the booked room since they were all out. She gave me attitude and told me next... more

On a trip around the U.S. Southwest for 14 nights, this turned out to be our worst experience. When we arrived, we interrupted a person behind the desk who was eating. He was not very friendly and didn't tell us that the view from our room was a brick wall, only 3 feet away. The room was OK, but was... more

This place would've been good for a $30 hotel but for $130, I would never recommend this dump. The pictures are deceiving. To start, the furniture was at least 20 years old, tv was about 15", the towels were dingy gray and the continental breakfast consisted of juice, mini donuts and stale roles. The only way this place stays in... more

The room was fine, large enough to accommodate the three of us. The views were nothing to speak of, from the bedroom window a paling fence, from the front window, a parking lot. The 10% discount for the evening meal proved OK as the buffet style meal was reasonable. The continental breakfast supplied with the room was barely adequate and... more

This hotel is great for a stop off while visiting the Grand Canyon, it's cheaper than the places to stay within the national park. Our room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was ok. The decor did however look a bit tired in areas but on the whole it was fine and the staff all cheery and helpful. more
