We first made a booking at El Tovar but am so glad we could get the lodge with rim view. Even with the crowd walking the Bright Angel trail, the place is still quiet, peaceful and very, very unique. Did not expect too much...tourist trap...not too expensive...partial canyon view... Fantastic...rustic feel, stone fireplace (gas), great view of the canyon. The restaurants were really great!
