We originally had reservations at the cabins close to Bright Angel Lodge. Due to change in dates, we had to switch to Yavapai Lodge at the suggestions of the Xanterra person on the phone. We stayed here in Yavapai West 5 years ago and still think it is the best place to stay. Rooms are fairly basic (although our's had AirCon fitted).
