My girlfriend and I both love spas so we decided to spend the night here after going to Hoh rainforest. Having spend to much time in the rainforest we arrived around 7 pm, leaving us only 1 hour to get dinner since in October everything (including the springs) closes at 8pm. The dinner was really good, and it was ok... more

We just returned from a 7-day road trip to the Olympic National Park during which we stayed two nights at Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort. The Resort is a 25-minute drive into the hills from a remote section of Highway 101 and is smack-dab in the middle of nowhere, in a valley bordered by mountain ranges on all sides. EAT... more

This "resort" consisted of cabins with no TV's, a hot spring pool and a mediocre restraunt. If you are Ok with no cell phone reception and just relaxing with a book, you will love this. i did not love this. however, the cabins were clean and the staff was friendly. No toiletries provided in rooms. more

Went to the hot springs with a large family group and stayed in the River Suite. The accommodations themselves were pretty good and it worked out for our group. The location is in the national forest, so it was beautiful. Several nice hikes to be had. The hot spring themselves are not appealing at all. Thee round, turquoise, concrete pools... more

Your room is an individual cabin -- rather basic but with everything one needs. The restaurant is fine, especially the complimentary breakfast was excellent, as was the butternut squash dish on the dinner menu. The best features are the unbeatble location, deep in the woods of Olympic National Park, and the fabulous swimming pools and hot tubs. This is a... more

Cabins are spartan, but beds were comfortable enough. Our thermostat didn't work and we roasted all night and our dresser was jammed shut and wouldn't open or close. But whatever, it is a gorgeous location, with fab hiking, so fine, it is a little on the plain side. But the pools were awful. Sulphur smells, I knew that going in,... more

I recently got back from the resort and it was nothing like you hear. The rooms were disgusting and were NEVER cleaned. The restraunt was anything but decent, the food was sub-par and the service in the restraunt was pathetic. They have one actual hike within walking distance unless you plan on walking 4 miles uphill for a "fun" time.... more

Sol Duc Hot Springs in located in the national park. A $15 entry to the park is required. The lodgings are very bare bones--no phone, no internet anywhere, no TV's. The hot springs themselves consist of three pools with a fresh water pool as well. If you stay at the lodge the hots springs are included for free a well... more

We booked nights at Sol Duc, Kalaloch and Quinault as part of the Gas Savings Getaway package - three nights for $349 + $50 gas voucher. All three were excellent but very different. We arrived at Sol Duc in pouring rain wondering how far we had to drive along the seemingly endless access road and what we would find. From... more
