The setting of Log Cabin Resort rivals that of Lake Crescent Lodge. From our "chalet" we had one of the most beautiful views in The Olympic National Park. Unfortunately, at $169 a night the A-frame "chalet" we rented was truly laughable. The main room is dominated by a clumsy staircase to a tiny loft. The beds were the most uncomfortable... more

I searched in vain for any reviews on the Log Cabin resort's "campground" before we left on our trip, but found none. So, for those of you who would like to pitch a tent on the shores of Lake Crescent, this place is NOT for you. We arrived after a long day of a ferry from British Columbia and a... more

Outside of the terrific location on Crescent Lake, there is little to recommend about the Log Cabin "Resort". The cabins, actually better described as run down, tiny shacks, that are noisy, largely because they are only feet away from the RV park with RV generators running all night. The "lodge" is essentially a run down motel with a lobby crammed... more

This was my second choice in the area based on other reviews. After staying at my first choice for 1 night and these place there is hardly a comparison. We stayed in on of the A frames. While the location is beautiful, it is off the highway quite a ways. The check-in area reminded us of something from the 50s.... more

After my husband was deployed, my girlfriend and I booked a nights stay at the Log Cabin Resort to take our minds off our men. It was absolutely perfect! It was almost deserted in March and we got the whole place to ourselves. We stayed in an A-Frame cabin right off the water that had a ll the amenities (ie.... more

When we visited beautiful Lake Crescent again we thought we remembered that this place had a lot to offer. We apparently were wrong. This is certainly a no frills kind of place! By that I mean - no coffee in the room, a meager general store and rooms and beds that need some serious updating. I found the restaurant overpriced... more

Log Cabin Resort is a wonderful trip back in time to when families vacationed for the purpose of spending time with eachother. There are no phones or tv's here to distract. The price is on the higher side but you're paying for the location, fantastic view and experience and it is comparable to other ONP lodgings. This place is rustic... more

The only nice thing about the cabins is that it is right on beautiful Lake Crescent. The cabins are overpriced for the quality. They are quite rustic and the furniture is old and uncomfortable. The cabin had a small living room with a worn futon which was not comfortable. The bedroom was crowded with two beds which were too big... more

Pay close attention to the negative reviews. They are all of a piece: Overpriced, cramped, dirty, and in a general state of decay. The cabin we stayed in was old and funky. The doors wouldn't close and windows wouldn't open. That's not a problem for us. We enjoy the rustic. But what we had was a shack. The bed was... more

My husband and I stayed in one of the camping cabins for $64 a night (tax included) for three nights while we toured the park. We also had to pay $10 for linens for the bed - which DID NOT include towels. The only thing we liked about the place was the location. It's right on the banks of Lake... more
