Estes Park Campground is perfectly fine. The complainers on this site are clearly not true campers. They complain about non-level sites... on a mountain. They complain about getting charged $50 for not putting out a campfire... after signing an agreement explicitly stating such at check in. EPC has great scenery, VERY clean bathrooms and showers, and is next door to... more

We have a pop-up and stayed for two nights at the campground. When we arrived, the hosts/owners were not very friendly or accomodating. It was "take your $$" and who cares if you don't enjoy your stay. The site was not level and it appeared they hadn't cut the grass around the sites for quite some time. When I couldn't... more

The Estes Park Campgroound was a great place for our family and several other family in our group to camp. The management was friendly, the bathrooms were clean, and we felt safe with our kids. The views, hiking and fishing from the campground were great. I would recommend this campground to any family. more

Unless you are staying inside the park this is the best location for camping available. The campground is located on a dead end road so street traffic does does exist (unlike ALL the other campgrounds in Estes we've stayed at). We did some amazing hikes inside the park accessed right from the campground. The hummingbirds were abundant in the campground.... more

Manager is generally unfriendly plus unaccomodating. We reserved and paid for two sites. Manager wanted to charge us an extra-vehicle fee for parking a family member's vehicle in front of our bumper-pull trailer which was parked in one (paid) site, when actual tow vehicle was parked and paid for in another (paid) site. Ditto that constant driving around the campground... more

This campground was decent until you see your bill. It cost us an extreme amount of money to stay at a sub-par campground. The sites were average and the bathrooms were fine. The part that turned us away from ever staying here was that they charged us $50 extra for our camp fire not being put out. However, we put... more

We just returned from a 3 night stay at this campground. We agree with others that the sites at this campground are very close together and there was very little room for our tent and our traveling partners' camper on the site we were given. We had been told when booking the trip that there would be plenty of room... more

We've stayed at this campground several times over the last 18 years. Unfortunately the folks who have owned it for the last 8 years have let it run down, and they are definitely NOT into customer service. 1. Though we had reserved early, we were giving a tenting site with little privacy and no level areas for our tent. It... more

My husband and I camped at Estes Park Campground over July 4th weekend. We had some other plans fall through, so we didn't book until late May ... we were glad they could fit us in. We were very happy with our campsite (tent camping). Our site seemed to be roomier than some of the others, which was nice. The... more

The campsites are right on top of each other. No real privacy to sit back and enjoy. We looked down upon other campers. It was very dusty, more than usual. The noise of the bathroom doors woke us up at 5:00AM daily. The bathroom stall doors are warped. So no privacy there either! We left our cooler with mostly drinks... more
