I stayed here for 2 nights in early June. The location is great. The cabin was perfectly warm, with both a propane heater and an electric heater. I stayed in a rustic cabin and it was indeed that. There was no bathroom, so communal facilities had to be used. Not the best choice for a 56 year-old bladder. It was... more

We booked the cabins to give our kids the "camping" experience with the comfort of beds and a roof. The joke was on us when we arrived to find that the cabin, although cute, was very old with holes in the roof, no insulation or heat. There was a heater that kept you warm if you stood 2 inches from... more

Wasn't sure what to expect with "rustic" cabins, but they were really pretty good for the price. We had a cabin with two double beds. They were in a great location with many trails and points of interest within easy hiking distance. The facilities were a bit old, with the showers being the worst off. I could not convince my... more

We cheated a bit and stayed in the only cabin (#9) with a indoor bathroom. What a great experience. I have been there as a kid and remembered all the bears walking around at night and being afraid to walk down to the public bathrooms from our cabin. So for my kid I decided not to scare her and get... more

Stayed here two nights on a hiking/road trip vacation. The location is perfect for people spending time in the park. Your outside the park lodging choices are a long drive away, and pretty pricey. We paid $79/night. The cabins are very basic, but really cute. They're obviously very old, and the wood floor was worn smooth. There was a little... more

Lodging: We stayed in the bath cabins which were built in the 1920s and are really cute! I doubt there is much insulation in the walls, but there was a very powerful heater in room. Our first night there we couldn't get the pilot light to light the heater. One of the staff tried to light it to no avail.... more

We stayed in a rustic cabin (2 Double Beds) for four persons. I was worried about the heat because it was quite cold outside. We were happily surprised to see a good propane heater and we were very warm. The cabin was nice, the beds really clean (towels are provided). The floor was a bit dusty. The showers are in... more

We stayed in one of the duplex bath cabins and found it typical of this type of accommodation in the USA National Parks. It’s functional with clean bedding and towels but with no frills. These rooms get a lot of people tramping through them and given the nature of the environment then of course the carpets and furniture get a... more

This is somewhat difficult for me to review. We stayed in the tent cabins not by choice but as a result of none of the other cabins being available. I didn’t want to stay in one of the lodge rooms since they are expensive and I also thought it would be like staying at a Day’s Inn transplanted to a... more
