We have visited the site on several occasions now and must be one of the best run and kept campsites in the country. The site managers and owners are very friendly and welcoming. On arrival you are greeted by a magnificent Green Old Oak building that houses the reception, shop, restaurant and amenities. The showers which are full wet rooms are always well looked after and a mop is provided to mop the shower floor after you use it. We have visited the restaurant on several occasions and it feels weird crossing a campsite to this five star restaurant, food is served at lunchtimes and evenings and we would highly recommend a visit, but it does get very busy so booking is wise for evenings and Sunday lunches. For those special occasions there is a balcony in the restaurant which is idyllic but would again ask if you wanted to celebrate a special occasion.
