Once again I was on the road for my job. This time it was a trade show in Halifax. Timberlea is a suburb of Halifax, the motel was about 8 KM from downtown. It was $75.00/night which was at least $25.00/cheaper than anything with a Halifax address.
The motel is close to a highway access running east/west across the province, and near a reasonable restaurant, a drug store, a pizza place and a Tim Horton's. All the things that you need to get along.
As I spent a week at the Stardust I was pleased that the room was large, clean and well appointed. The queen sized bed was firm. The room included a full sized fridge, and micro wave. No dishes, cutlery, or pots and pans were included in the room.
The only down side on the room was the cycling up of the fridge took some getting used to, that is not a usual bedroom sound..
Just a note to remember the Halifax international Airport is about 36 KM north of Halifax.
