We have just come back from our second trip to Villa Pia, and have already booked for next year. We never usually return to the same place, so it says a lot about how fantastic this place is. There was so much to keep out 3 year old and five year old enterained, and they were happy from the minute... More

We have just returned from Villa Pia and had the most lovely holiday. Our children are aged 3 & 4 and were very disappointed to be going home. They had an absolute ball, and so did we! The beautiful old Villa has lots of original features, making this a very different holiday from a purpose built resort, lending atmosphere and... More

I've got to say I find the review below completely unrecognisable to our experience at Villa Pia. We cannot praise Villa Pia enough. We are the family that had the poorly child at 5.30am. We rang Paula who immediately picked up and told us which hospital to go to and met us there. She stayed with us for 5 hours,... More

Food was mediocre and not plentiful nor varied. Our room was tiny, damp and cold and was unsuitable for more people than a single / couple - we were a family of four. We saw a number of the other rooms and none were as bad. It was particularly problematic that we had been charged exactly the same as the... More

I am so sorry you did not enjoy your holiday a year ago. I would like to clarify a few points. I have measured the room you mentioned and it is 20 square metres which is really quite large, people often rebook it for it's convenience. There is absolutely an extra cost for the family suites which consist of 2... More

Villa Pia is brilliant for toddlers. Activities for kids: plenty. Trampoline. Soft play. Pools. Courtyard with loads of toys, bikes, slide, playhouse etc. Tennis court for football. Little playground. Indoor playroom. Don't listen to the people who complain that the soft play / indoor playroom is dingy. Its relative - in the blazing sunshine, lots of rooms appear dingy. Toys... I've been twice to villa pia first when my son was 20 months old then when he was nearly 3. We only had to cancel a third visit as my husband was ill and couldn't drive and yes I'd say a car is essential. Both times we had a lovely relaxing holiday. The food was great, I'm vegetarian and took... More

We are a family of six with children ranging from 16 down to 5. We have enjoyed holidays at Villa Pia for the past four years. All of us without exception absolutely adore it there. It is now home from home and we have met many lovely friends whom we meet during the year in England. Many have said that... More

We went to Villa Pia for ten days in April ... and found it so relaxing that we went back for another week in October! Quite remarkable given that we never usually go the same place twice. Why so relaxing? Because there is loads of stuff on site for the children to do (trampolines, playground, table tennis, soft play area,... More

We holidayed here with our two children after randomly finding it on the internet. I was a bit nervous about it as all I had to go on were internet reviews as opposed to word of mouth from friends, which is how we normally pick holidays, but we needn't have worried. We'd been away a couple of times with our... More

we really enjoyed our time at Villa Pia. We were early July so missed peak season. I think there was full occupancy at the house but not the annex. Its not the sort of place you would want to go - if you want to dump your kids in day care all day - but it is for families who... More
