4 of us went to sligo on a golf break. Stayed friday and saturday night in a chalet adjacent to main building. We all commented on the friendliness and efficiency of the staff - with no exceptions - and we really enjoyed our stay. Our package included a dinner on the friday and the food was excellent - we also... more

I stayed at this wonderful Hotel with a magnificent Darren Clarke designed Golf Course. We dined in the Hotel restaurant and I must honestly say I thought the food was excellent , it was on a par with any of the finest restaurants in Ireland. more

We were in fact allocated a walled garden suite which comprised a huge sitting room/kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. All was clean & fresh. My husband did not like the fact that... more

Stayed in the castledargan two weeks ago. Very nice place but was glad I checked it on route finder as it could be hard to find. We ate in the restaurant on our first night as we were there to go to the wedding the next day. The food was exceptional, wont go into detail as it was perfect from... more

I stayed at Castle Dargan for six days on a golf trip with my father. It is a perfect location for some really nice golf, just 10 km outside Sligo. The best courses in the area are Enniscrone and County Sligo (Rosses Point), two beautiful links courses. We also played Strandhill, a funny but mediocre links course, and Donegal, a... more

Stayed here for 3 nights as friends were getting married at nearby Markree hotel. Hotel itself well designed and room clean etc.... although none of the bathrobes, water, sewing kit etc... that were detailed on website. No fridge or minibar either. Golf pro and course fantastic, really enjoyed my round. Girlfriend went to spa and also had great experience. Unfortunately... more
