It is not unusual to return from a vacation with feelings of euphoria. So, I waited three weeks before writing this review. When I entered through the gates of the property, I was struck by the beauty of the shaded lane that passes by a gatekeeper’s house, a three story stone building that was our residence for the week. The... More

From the moment that we drove down the shaded driveway and discovered this lovely old country house, we were made welcome by Christophe and Catherine Pariset and taken to our beautifully appointed en-suite bedroom overlooking the lawns which stretch down to their woodlands which border the banks of the Canal du Midi. For the next few days, we luxuriated in the... This elegant former vintner's estate, with its welcoming hosts, offers luxurious rooms decorated with exquisite yet functional antiques. We selected the large Rose Purple room which features a sumptuous bathroom with large soaking tub and separate shower. The Domaine setting with extensive grounds and large swimming pool in a central lawn provided a feeling of fine country living. We loved... More

My husband and I stayed here for 6 days recently, and really enjoyed it. A wonderful domaine in pleasant grounds with very friendly owners, and a large and delightful bedroom and bathroom. Breakfasts were delicious and served outside in fine weather. The domaine was very near the Canal du Midi, and only about 15 minutes drive from Carcassonne. It was... More

My wife and I, together with two friends have just returned from two wonderful weeks spent at the Domaine Saint Pierre. We stayed in the self contained gatehouse which has two good sized bedrooms and a fantastic bathroom. The living accommodation is comfortable and has ever facility you could wish for. The small terrace has an inviting ‘plunge pool’ which... More

JUST had the most incredible stay at this typical "chateau du sud". renovated by the owners and our hosts,Catherine and Christophe. We could NOT be in a more ideal setting. Our room, (all 5 rooms have their own elegant, refined style) -was immaculately clean, comfortable, quiet, very bright with a great view on the park and the pool, not to... More

My husband, daughter and I spent a few nights and felt comfortable and at ease right away. Christophe made sure we had arrangements made for dinner every night, and even mapped out our excursions for the days. One afternoon our cell phone rang and it was Christophe inviting us to a wine tasting that evening at the chateau. A nice... More

My husband and I first came here in May 2005. We stayed in the Maison d Oc, the 18th century gamekeeper's lodge, which was perfect-clean, well organized and private. Just as advertised! What can I say about Christophe and Catherine? There aren't enough accolades. They are warm, helpful and were so gracious by speaking their wonderful English to these Americans... More

We stayed at Domaine St Pierre de Trapel for 3 nights in in May and it was absolutely wonderful. The setting is idyllic - a grand, charming, renovated old mansion with a large, immaculate park and a lovely swimming pool. The whole place exudes old-world history and charm. It is very quiet and peaceful. The hosts, Cristophe and his wife,... More

We stayed with friends for three nights at the Domaine and rate it as the highlight of our three weeks in Spain and France. Close to the colorful Canal Du Midi and the historic walled-Cite, the Domaine is a quiet retreat from the busy Languedoc. The rooms are comfortable and clean with large baths, the grounds are calm and inviting... More
