We stayed here for just 2 nights during a tour of Portugal. We had the upper part of one of the stone cottages overlooking the lake. Although it was by far the most expensive accommodation we stayed in during our trip we were not disappointed. We were looking for a pleasant stay. After all this B&B was recommended by the Alistair Sawdays website, which we like very much – or should I say liked? I try to be as objective as I can – had I written this review directly after our stay it would have been a lot worse. The B&B is on the... More

This was a fabulous stone house with plenty of room for two couples looking for self contained accommodation. This place is right on the river with lovely walks and views. The only negative is that it's very difficult to find especially in the dark. Once you get there however, it feels just like home.
