We stayed at the Parva Guesthouse in mid April 2013 for five nights and enjoyed the hospitality of its Owners. The old farmhouse had a certain charm, very pleasing on the eye, with its rustic rooms and décor. Our room was very comfortable and the evening meals and breakfasts were very tasty. The surrounding areas were beautiful, with many interesting... More

Tintern is an excellent base for a few days. Stunning Tintern Abbey is a mile walk along the beautiful River Wye. Abbey Mill, local Vineyard and other attractions all make for an interesting village spread out along the river bank. Forest of Dean, Monmouth, Chepstow very close by. B&B with 8 rooms enabled our small group of 5 couples to... More

Beautiful building but a tight turn in from the main road, suggest you turn in from the car park of the pub opposite. Rooms pleasant but needs a bit of updating. Clean and comfortable but old wall paper. The lounge has a good selection of drinks and an honesty pad to record your drinks. Food is OK, especially the breakfasts,... More

Stayed for two nights in the Parva Farmhouse recently. Found it quite dated but is set in a nice location. The breakfast in the morning wasn't anything special, but the rooms were very clean, and it has a nice lounge room, which was a lovely place to relax. Found it slightly overpriced for what it offered but it is located... More

Been meaning to write a review for ages but kept forgetting. We stayed here last year and all in all had an extremely nice stay. Fantastic food in their restaurant with plenty of choice. Bathrooms a little dated but clean and in good working order.

A lovely location - we stayed in the winter but could imagine how much better the natural area would look in the summer. We had a comfortable and well lit room. We enjoyed the beautiful, warm and cosy lounge, with Chesterfields to relax in and a huge wood-burning stove. There was very reasonably priced and well-stocked  'honesty' bar. We had good... More

Our group of 8 couples effectively took over the place for one night in late September. An ideal base for our bracing walk up the Offa Dyke and back along the River via the lovely pub at Brockweir. Then men to local micro brewery (strongly recommended with lunch) and women did women stuff. We all met up later and after... More

The Parva Farmhouse is a splendid, top-class B&B in the gorgeous Wye Valley just yards from the river (you don't even have to cross a road to get to the riverbank). Located in Tintern Parva it is at the quieter, less touristy end of the village, but only an easy 15 minute walk from the Abbey. Excellent picturesque location. There... More

A very pleasant location but a rather dated guesthouse and atmosphere. We stayed in a room at the top of the house but unfortunately the shower pressure could not reach that high and resulted in a dribble from the shower head that was in a rather unpleasant peach coloured very dated bathroom. We stayed for the evening meal (I wish... More
