This is an excellent, well-organized, adventure through the rainforests of Belize, including Zip Lining, and cave rafting, and then five wonderful days of snorkling, sea kayaking and sailing, beach, sun, and wonderful new friends of all ages. The food and accommodations are excellent--the highest end of camping! The naturalist guides are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, skillful and wonderful teachers, and their love of and desire to preserve Belize's natural beauty is inspiring. The surroundings are exquisitely beautiful in all locations and access to the reef within the park added such wonderful variety to what we saw--everything--turtles, sting rays, baracudas, sharks, lobsters, crabs, conch, and all the varieties of fish the Caribean is blessed with. The balance maintained of ensuring that all have an excellent adventure safely was much appreciated. The equipment was kept in top notch condition. My best memory of the five days I spent on Glover's Reef was not its reputation as one of the three best dive and snorkel spots in the world but waking up in my airy canvas cabana (I just can't call it a tent) and staring at the rising tropic sun rolling a golden carpet across an emerald lagoon to the sugar white sand at my front flap. No need for sleeping bags or mosquito nets with the warm trade winds whispering through the waving coconut palms . As well as colour, I remember sound: the noisy chattering of grackles in the mangroves, the windswept waves crashing on the black coral of the barrier reef, and the mournful wail of the conch shell calling us to breakfast.

While we feasted on Martha's Creole cooking (mango, papaya and pineapple, omelettes and fryjacks), we watched pelicans torpedoing into the sea after jumping needlefish, rising to the surface then with several waggles of their bulbous throat flaps, gulping down their prey.
