Fine hotel!!! Remarkable architecture and magnificent design. Each number is unique and has the own name - I had a rest in number "Rambutan". We travelled tO Bali on our Honelymoon and stayed in teh Bali Tropic for 10 nights. Initial impressions were positive. The room was good enough and the pool area was nice. The food initially was ok too, but there were flies everywhere. They really need to cover all food which is obviously difficult in a buffet setup... But the least... more

i stayed for three days. Bali is lovely and I had a great time for for this hotel, in summary: a) food was very poor and a mix of european rather than balinese. I had a very bad tummy when I left b) staff are very nice but senior management and desk staff are not so c) beach is ok... more

Accomodation authetic but in poor shabby state. Senior staff very rude when approached with issues. Not child friendly. I was confined to bed and loo by day 6, turns out from latter 8 or 9 conversations with other guests that many had spouces or party members confined to room with similar stomach illness.
