Mata, the host, was so helpful, friendly and lovely. He met us in our accommodation when we arrived at 1am and was smiling! We had the one bedroom villa, which was modern and well equipped. I’m sooooooo hesitant to write this review – in case I never get to stay there again because the place will be flooded with guests! Where to start…the location. Aroa Beach is the BEST spot in Rarotonga. Protected from the prevailing winds (which can be gusty in August) and with great snorkeling, it’s not over-run by tourists as Muri tends... more
Melanie & I recently spent 10 days in Rarotonga, staying at Vaikoi. We have absolutely no reservation in recommending Vaikoi. We wanted something self contained, clean, comfortable and quiet and it was this and more.
