The hotel consists of many blocks of low-rise chalets with crenellated roofs (see pics). It seemed to be situated in a residential, not commercial area as there are houses at both sides of the hotel grounds, and across the road. With the stayers spread out, it is very laidback and quiet. The lobby and restaurant (at the 2nd level) is at the centre block. The general impression I have of the grounds reminded me of the beach chalets in my country and I half expected to see some people having their barbeque gathering right outside!
If you are looking for some action or nightlife, this hotel is not for you as there are only houses, no bars or activities nearby.
The beach, which faces the Straits of Dardanelles is good for short strolls but I won't recommend swimming in the water as it is full of rotting organic matter such as dead jellyfish and driftwood and the area reeks of diesel?fuel smell that could be attributed either to the boats or runoff from the roads that...
