We stayed here after hiking Hadrian's Wall and it was fantastic. Our hosts were very friendly, the rooms were excellent, the shower was great and the house itself is gorgeous. The breakfast we were cooked was delicious with lashings of accompaniments and a pot of proper tea and coffee. For the money you pay this is hard to beat. More

Having spent one night here whilst walking the wall we returned with elderly parents for a short break. Rooms are very comfortable, showers enormous, breakfast fantastic.
