only stayed one night, but wish we had booked for two. The inn itself was clean and the staff very friendly. The pub attached to the inn served great food, with dishes to accomodate all tastes. The premier breakfast was first class, we certainly ate our moneys worth. We will definately stay here again.

Some of the other reviews are way too harsh, this is a no-nonsense hotel. It was quiet and clean. I stayed there with my wife and daughter before she started he Duke of Edinburgh expedition in the nearby hills. Breakfast was pricey for the non-cooked option but we took the plunge anyway.
