I set out on this trip with my usual anticipation coupled with fear of the unknown. We had never stayed on Mead’s Bay, and did not know what to expect. After reading winter reports of huge waves I became even more nervous. My fears were unfounded.

We arrived at 10:30 at night and could hear but not see the ocean, the next morning at sunup, I was out there to look and my heart was doing a happy dance. Days were spent floating in that calm bay - until the storm hit, and you can read about that in another post:

Nathan’s Cove is located between Bananas by the Sea and Blanchard’s on Mead’s Bay. It is a two story duplex, with the top floor being a four bedroom apartment - each top floor room has two beds and its own bathroom. Bottom floor units have two bedrooms, with one double bed in one, and two double beds in the other. The pictures do not do it justice... more
