I stayed at the GPBR for two weeks in June. I booked after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor and would say I was well-prepared for the limitations of the hotel. Yes, the decor is tired and the rooms are basic. Yes, the floors above are wooden and inconsiderate people can be noisy. Yes the food is fine but not exceptional.... more

We have just got back from our second visit to GPB, this time for our daughters and now son-in-law’s wedding. The wedding itself was magical and well organised by Novella the wedding coordinator, the cake and all the flowers were lovely . The food this time was even better than our last visit and then it was really good .... more

Save your money or go somewhere - ANYWHERE - else. Staff wasnt exactly hostile but they definatly seemed as if they were forced to be somewhat cordial to guests. Food was awful. Ordered steak, more than 50% of steak was chunks of fat. Ran out of appetizers and deserts for dinner. Ran out of cheese by the grill. Food was... more

We stayed at the GPBR from 13 June to 20 June. Lets get the negative out of the way - the accomodation is as it is, tired and needing updated, however as reviews have said before it is clean and once you get there you will realise how little time you spend in it! We booked a beach front room... more

We stayed at the Grand Pineapple in mid June, 2008. The weather was perfect and the location absolutely beautiful. The beach is lovely, with white sand, and the water is the perfect blue you imagine when you think of the Caribbean. We had a decent holiday, but I have mixed feelings about the Grand Pineapple resort overall. I think Sandals,... more

Just back from the Pineapple Beach Club. We spent a week starting June 14 in room 209, a standard room that could use some improvements. There was a musty smell in the room, but it was kept quite clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were great. The furnishings were very tired and dated. They really need to spend... more

My wife and I just returned from a week's stay at the Grand Pineapple. We had a fantastic time and the resort met and mostly exceeded our expectations. We read quite a lot of reviews before booking the vacation, so not much came as a surprise; I would advise that others do the same. If you're expecting to stay at... more

We stayed at the GPB From 7.5.08 to 22.5.08. Had an amazing time. Was a bit concerned about the hotel after reading all the negative reports. This was unfounded. The hotel was a bit tired and in need of some work, but this just added to it's character . We were upgraded on our arrival to an ocean view room.... more

I must admit I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews posted BUT the hotel and ammenities are fantastic. The beach is just amazing and never too crowded you can snorkle or just lounge around in the lovely sea. The staff on activities are very friendly and organised beach cricket, football and volleyball you were never forced... more

WOW, WOW, and WOW again!!! I went to this resort dreading the holiday after a recent split with my partner, I took my mum instead since it was only 2 weeks before the holiday. Am so glad i went. This place is heaven on earth. Lovely welcome at the airport with rum punch cocktails, private taxi to the resort. The... more
