We have just returned from a great holiday at this hotel (25 July 08 to 1 August 08) and can't relate to some of the comments made by others - especially about the staff who were polite, courteous and warm in their dealings with us. Key points: - fabulous location - convenient but not in a flight path etc so... more

My GF and I have just got back from 2 weeks at the GP and wanted to let people know what they are in for. Pros 1. Beach - of all the places i've been on holiday, the beach at the GP is by far the nicest i have ever been too. There is a gentle breeze that stops you... more

having been shipped from St James we finally arrived at the Grand Pineapple. On visual review of this place (only dont look too close) it looks paradise, palm trees, sands, however when we arrived at check in we were kept waiting and it seemed as though we were forgotten about. We finally get to our room and the problems begin.... more

Yes, this is some sort of world record....30 minutes between checking in and checking out! We were only here because we didn't like the first resort we had chosen and GPBC was highly recommended by the Virgin rep. However, from the moment we arrived we hated the place! There was very loud music playing in the bar area (close to... more

my husband and I stayed at GPBC in june, the first thing that you notice in the long driveway with nowhere on the outskirts to go,so if you fancy an evening stroll or a drink in another bar forget it. The hotel has its own shuttle bus which is quite expensive with the price changing every day We were lucky... more

What can I say? We had a magical time at the Grand Pineapple Beach Resort. We wed atop the beautiful Hilltop Gazebo on a picture perfect day, playing our CD of Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and couldn't have asked for more. From start to finish all was taken care of thanks to Novella the wedding coordinator. We luckily... more

My husband and I travelled to The Grand Pineapple Beach Club on 31st May 2008. It has got to be said that the beach is absolutely beautiful and the snorkelling on the reefs at the far end of the beach was excellent. We were however a bit dissappointed with the hotel itself. At best it could be described as tatty.... more

I'm going to start with the Barbuda trip just in case anyone gets bored quickly. The excellence to Barbuda was great but over the Atlantic in a very fast catermaran is fun but an absolute nightmare if like myself you suffer from travel sickness, Normally I am not too bad and rarely get physically sick, this trip it happened to... more

I stayed at the GPBR for two weeks in June. I booked after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor and would say I was well-prepared for the limitations of the hotel. Yes, the decor is tired and the rooms are basic. Yes, the floors above are wooden and inconsiderate people can be noisy. Yes the food is fine but not exceptional.... more

We have just got back from our second visit to GPB, this time for our daughters and now son-in-law’s wedding. The wedding itself was magical and well organised by Novella the wedding coordinator, the cake and all the flowers were lovely . The food this time was even better than our last visit and then it was really good .... more
