A totally delightful, laid back, stylish hotel. It combines beautiful, understated design, with friendly service with pretty good food in a really fabulous setting. If you're after 'bling' or having your sunglasses cleaned five times a day - well, this isn't for you. CB is about relaxation and peace. Ok there are a few water sports and a couple of... more

I stayed in this hotel only one night, but I think I got a good feel for what it is like. Arrival was very pleasant. We (I went with my wife) were greeted at the entrance by a staff member who took us into the large pavilion style lobby. He brought us a cold towel and a nonalcoholic drink, and... more

We were expecting a five star hotel and resort and were a little bit disappointed by Carlisle Bay in this respect. Its a nice place, a very nice place infact, but not quite up to the level and standards you expect of a leading hotel. So we spent our first few days a little underwhelmed and a bit deflated. The... more

The Carlisle Bay Resort is one of the most beautiful and chic retreats in Antigua. Its grounds are just enjoyable – the emerald jungle, bright tropical flowers, shining white sand on the beach and warm azure sea. In comparison to Galley Bay Resort, it looks “aristocratically civilized” rather than simply and conveniently adopted to the natural environment, but un-snobbish and... more

My wife and I spend long weekend (5 days) at Carlisle Bay. This is a nice Resort with the same quality as Little Dix Bay and Jumby Bay. Ocean suite rooms are large with a nice bathroom area. The resort was at 50% capacity this week, so no crowds on the beach. We were on a ground floor room which... more

This is a beautiful hotel. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff are very friendly, food good and facilities are good. Some nice touches - waiter service at breakfast, free daily newspaper and free afternoon tea which we had on the beach everyday. However, there is a big BUT - the hotel is very isolated. We hired a car and... more

My wife and I just spent 5 nights there. It was wonderfully relaxing. We never wandered more than 200 yards from our room in that time. The property is well kept, well run and pleasantly quiet. The beach is lovely and quite private, but be aware that it is short enough that if you love to hike for long stretches... more

I have always thought about writing a review about my stay in Carlisle Bay but never seemed to get round to it but after reading some of the recent reviews i was actually wondering if there was more than one Carlilse Bay and thought i'd better share my views. My wife and I have stayed at Carlisle Bay in May... more

The hotel had very nice staff and very respectable food..above the average. But when I read reviews I always like to know the scoop...is a loud driveway from other hotel close to my room; do we hear the bar noise, is there a dumpster under our window (four seasons wailea) The room was a bit austere and the TV was... more

We did not stay at Carlisle Bay but we went for the day and used there beach and restaurant. The website is beautiful but and says it is 5 Star. I would rate it as 3 star. As soon as you arrive at the front gate and drive along the drive, the road has potholes all over it and the... more
