We stayed at Galley Bay from May 27th to 3rd June 2008. Overall we were extremely impressed. We stayed in a fantastic second story suite (number 74). Our balcony overlooked the sea and palm trees. Our bathroom was cavernous and had a his and hers walk in shower, two sinks an enormous raised bath. The bed was enormous and the... more

I was not going to write a review but after some of the recent criticism, I felt I owed to Galley Bay and the staff. My now husband and I celebrated our Honeymoon at Galley Bay from June 7th-June 14th. We had a fantastic time and will look back fondly on this vacation for years to come. Room: When we... more

We stayed at Galley Bay for 2 weeks in June. The location is good on a natural beach. We had read the reviews and felt that previous criticisms were perhaps not justified - we didn't think the mini bar would be an issue but it turned out it was-it was awkward to have to go to the bar for plastic... more

We returned from Galley Bay on the 20th June after a fantastic two week holiday. We were upgraded to one of the new Premium Suites room 17 on arrival. What a fantastic place to celebrate our Silver |Anniversary. Both myself and my husband were completley blown away with the accomodation and it was definitley a room with a view, to... more

Check in was pleasant but the small tram to the rooms had to be pushed to get it going from a dead stop (we had to push!). Rooms (Superior grade new units) are very large and well appointed. Meal service was too slow to believe. One lunch took 3 hours! Food was good except fish dishes which varied from overdone... more

We have just returned from Galley Bay 3rd to 17th June. I agree with all other reviews it was paradise. We had a Gaugin Cottage and we loved it. It was so private and quiet just what we like. We loved the plunge pool and even though we could of been upgraded to deluxe we didnt as we wanted the... more

My wife and I were privileged to have spent the most wonderful 10 days at Galley Bay from the 3rd to the 13th June. The resort is beautiful in every respect, and offers the most wonderful romantic experience, the beach is huge and magnificent, the gardens are well tended, the pool is a haven within heaven, the restaurants are well... more

The brochure promised us a beautiful beach and the price (it's not cheap, but excellent value) promised us comfortable rooms and good food. But what made Galley Bay stand out from other hotels we have stayed in was the attitude of the staff - so friendly and helpful - nothing too much trouble, always very personal and good-humoured. They have... more

This resort lived up to every single review! I can't imagine how ANYONE could have anything bad to say about this resort. The resort itself is small, cozy and very peaceful. Prior to our arrival, I was very hopeful that I made the right choice. I was a bit nervous all the way from the airport to the resort. When... more
