Spent a fair bit of time in Antigua in the late 90's. Found it to be one of the easiest islands to get around safely. I loved it there. We tried hotels/resorts with the "all Inclusive" packages but found renting a Villa at Jolly Harbour most to our liking. We could come and go as we pleased. Could either eat... more

We JUST returned from Jolly Harbour Vacations, a part of Jolly Harbour Resorts. It was lovely. The beach was the best one we saw when we took our Catameran Cruise around the entire island, of which I would highly suggest bringing lots of sunscreen, an additional shirt and watch the powerful rum punches. We took some friends this year, we... more

Just returned from a week's stay at the Jolly Harbor Resort. We stayed in one of the 2BR, 2 1/2 bath Villas that was "beach side" on the South Finger. The villa had a complete kitchen, dining room and living room combo with 1/2 bath downstairs as well as a roomy deck and mooring off the living room. Upstairs were... more

I have just returned from Antigua and we stayed in a villa on the harbour on the south finger however. We got married in Antigua last April and everyday since we returned I just wanted to go back and after a 2nd visit yet again I just can't wait to go back. We previously stayed in Antigua last April which... more

Just back from a fortnight in one of the terraced villas in South Finger of Jolly Harbour Marina. We booked ours direct with the owner after an extensive search on the internet, well worth the effort. The villa was great, well furnished, clean with lots of little extras that you wouldn't probably get going through a holiday company; books, dvd's,... more

Hmmm, Ok, it seems like it would habe been beautiful int he 90's and is showing her age,...and not gracefully. I enjoyed driving a golf cart around the compound, that was fun. Grocery store was great. There was very little to do at night period. They do not tell you that the casino is closed, the Indian restaurant is closed... more

We stayed at Jolly Harbour (wife, my son and his friend) for 8 days in early November. We were in the North Finger (block 410) and found the villa to be comfortable and well equipped. It was a 20 minute walk down to the commercial centre, 30 mins to the South Beach, but we hired a golf buggy (200 US... more

We have just got back from a wonderful relaxing two weeks in Antigua, Villa 229B is on the South Finger of Jolly Harbour Marina and is a 2 Bedroom waterfront home with a patio and balcony, which is comfortable and well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday, we found the beds in the villa to be... more

We expierenced hurricane Omar. Did not have eletricity for 2 days. People were friendly. Hotel (Jolly Harbour Resort) was awful. Tried and tried to get reservations for Coco's. Forget it. Overall it was horrible. Best thing about the trip was the staff gave us a bag of ice and a bottle of rum "to numb the pain". more

We were checked in during the afternoon to a unit which had no water. After repeatedly checking in with the front office throughout the evening, we were finally left a key to a unit which had water but no HOT water. The next morning they replaced the water heater, but put a 19 amp heater on a 15 amp circuit,... more
