This was my first trip to Aruba and fourth time at an all-inclusive. Aruba itself is wonderful - the weather is fantastic, the city people are nice and it just is "one happy island" as it claims. Plus you will feel very safe there. I'll start off with the negatives and then go to the positives: The Tamarijn was the... more

This was our fourth visit in 10 years. Sorry to say, but we won't be back. It is an older hotel, but it's way shabbier than it should be. Worse were the employees, they seemed inconvenienced whenever you wanted anything. There definately were no smiling, happy employees there. We even made a game out of trying to get the employees... more

Wonderful location in Aruba right on the beach. At times, however, we found the staff quite curt...front desk, bartenders, etc. This all-inclusive resort combined w/ the Divi Divi had a few restaurants. Most were okay but the Italian one was the best. Also, there was no food in the mini-fridge in the rooms, and no room service. What's up with... more

This was by far one of the best family vacations! We traveled with another family and their teenagers too. So we had 3 teenagers, 16, 15 and 12. We did purchase the family package so we could use both resorts at the lesser price. Matter of fact kids under 18 stay and eat free. The kids LOVED it! Both the... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Tamarijn from March 1 - 8. We flew in direct from Toronto without any issues. Although getting through Customs in Aruba took forever... the agents were very slow. We showed up at the Tamarijn around 4pm to a friendly front desk clerk and some cold bottled water. I did some research beforehand and... more

This hotel had great views of the beach. The rooms are very clean and the staff is so friendly. The food was good and there was a lot of it. We made a lot of trips to the ice cream machine and enjoyed the fresh pizza. We also took advantage of the bikes that are included and rode all over... more

I took this trip for the first time without my husband as a mother-daughter vacation with my teenage daughter and my best friend and her teenage daughter. I knew that it was only a 3* resort so was actually pleasantly surprised with the set up and location. It is a very nice resort. The rooms were small, but as mentioned,... more

This was our 3rd trip to the resort, one of our favorite spots, the last time was 3 years ago. Now, I know there are budget cuts every where but it really showed at the Tamarijn. The staff was very unhappy & were complaining they were short staffed. This only effected the guest service. We didn't let that bother us ,... more

We stayed at Tamarijn Feb 14-21. Had 1 whole day of rain which is unusual, I understand. Direct flight from Washington Dulles without incident. Short bus ride to property. DePalm Tours were very professional & helpful. Before I begin the review, I'd like to make 1 statement regarding some of the negative comments regarding this property-You're lucky enough to be... more

After the coldest winter in 18 years we could'nt wait to feel the sun on our bodies. We arrived after our 10 hour flight to paradise. I know that some of the reviews slated the conditions of the rooms but if you have holidayed in Greece.....! We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks although there there was quite a lot of... more
