We just returned from a week spent at the Tamarijn Aruba AI and it is not a hotel to which we would consider visiting again because the negative aspects far outweighed the positive. PROS: Beach is gorgeous and is just outside your hotel room. A nice wooden walkway runs from the Tamarijn over to the sister resort, the Divi. Many... More

We just returned from a week at the Tam. There were seven of us ranging in age from 5 to 89 years old. The resort layout was perfect for us and we requested 1300 block, which is where we were located. Everything was so close to the rooms. Being able to walk out our door right on the beach was... More

Stayed for 2 weeks - although the accomodations are not "deluxe" they are spacious, clean, and right on the beach (where else would you want to be when in Aruba). The choices for dining were more than adequate, the food was well prepared and delicious, the gym facilites were more comprehensive than many 5 star hotels... What truly made the... More

We loved, loved the private feel to the beach. Whichever palapa you choose, there is nothing (and no one!) between you and the beach. The views are unmatched and make for complete relaxation Fantastic!! The food was average, but the availabiltyand economy of the all inclusive almost more than makes up for it. It even worked for us to go... More

The Tamarijn is set on one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. That is proabably the number one reason for staying there. It is a very laid back resort-it you want luxury-the Tam isn't it-it offers a chilled kind of hoilday-with water activities if you feel active!.. Rooms aren't massive-good for two people-however,we managed perfectly well with four... More

It is so upsetting to see bad reviews for these properties. We have been for the last 5 years with First Choice (England) and are excited to say that we will be going again this year! For the first 3 years we did all inclusive at The Tamarijn and loved the island so much that we bought 2 timeshare properties... More

My family of four - two adults two teens stayed at the Tam during Feburary break 2/21 - 2/28. We had a great time. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who enjoys a relaxed atmosphere and a quieter beach setting. We stayed in room 1303 in the building closest to the main area. I requested a close location... More

Went with my wife in August 2011 and only just got round to writing the review. Lovely place, asked for a room on ground floor and in a certain block with the new bathrooms and got it. Was right next to the climbing wall and music was playing all day, nice entertainment but same songs got a bit tedious after... More

Here's the thing with the Tam: if you want to be all-inclusive, close to the airport, RIGHT ON the beach, and not pay an arm and a leg, this is the place. If you've done all-inclusives before, you know what you're getting, and if you have moderate expectations it will not disappoint. The Tamarijn is by no means a 5-star... More

We just returned from the Aruba. We made reservations at the Tamarjin and arrived to the hotel and was highly dissapointed. The rooms were very small and they had a standup shower. This made it very hard to stay there with kids. Also the metal crib had flaking rusted paint coming off it. We initially made reservations through the US... More
