After reading all the reviews prior to our trip I was curious as to how we would enjoy our stay. The beach and the hotel location are fabulous- the hotel itself is lacking and really needs an update. Rooms: We asked for rooms in 1100 or 1200 on first floor. We were given our request and assinged a room in... more

The charm of this hotel outweighs a lot of the negative points. We were originally in a room in building twenty-five which is as far away from reception as possible. The beach in front is lovely, however, the traffic behind the building was easily heard even on the beach. We ended up being moved to building eighteen the next day... more

My husband and I loved this place in the 'Low rise hotel'' district' because our room was right on the beach as were the restaurants and bars. The water was a beautiful turquoise and the sand was white. It was exactly what we wanted. It's not fancy but it was clean and the food was great. Reservations were easy to... more

My husband and I selected this resort after poring over all the reviews on trip advisor. We've stayed in quite a few different ranges of places and had felt that our expectations would be realistic in relation to what we were paying for the place. Overall, the resort was not at all what I expected. I'll start with the food-... more

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Tam from Sat 1/24 /09 through Sat 1/30/09 and we had alot of fun.The reason we chose Aruba was for the beautiful beach and we were not disapointed.I've been to Aruba twice before this and the beach is always a homerun. It did rain more then we would have liked but we made the... more

I always worried that an all-inclusive would cut corners on quality. I'm glad to say I was dead wrong. The staff were wonderful even without tipping. The food was excellent as long as you don't expect lobster and crab's legs every day. The liquor was not limited to the cheapest brands. The place is clean, well-manged, well maintained, and at... more

My husband and I stayed at the Tamarijn in May of 2008. We had originally booked our stay at the Divi (neighboring property), but upon visitng the Tam for dinner our second night, we quickly decided to switch properties. What an amazing decision! All rooms at the Tam provide beatiful oceanfront views. Most hotels offer this; however, this is the... more

I went to the Tamarijn in April 2008 with my boyfriend. We got there around noon. Check in was busy however a bowl filled with ice and bottles of water were being passed out by a friendly staff member. The girl who checked us in was very accommodating when we asked if we could switch the building we were put... more

We stayed at the Tam Jan. 17th - 23rd, 2009. This was a special trip for us to celebrate our 15th anniversary. I have been wanting to go back to Aruba since we stopped there for a day on our honeymoon cruise 15 years ago! We were not disappointed! The Tam is a beautiful resort. It is not a 5... more

I stayed at the Tam with my husband and 14 year old son. Check-in was very quick, the staff greeted us with nice cold water, and we got our room before check-in time, which has NEVER happened before. Yes, the rooms are very small, but clean, and equipped with a mini fridge and flat-screen satellite TV. Trust me, the view... more
