Pros: Tradewinds Club level! Fantastic staff. Spacious rooms. Cons: Only 2 elevators operating in May 09. Fortunately, hotel not fully occupied so waits were a minor inconvenience Literally the last hotel on the high-rise hotel beach. Walkable to beach zone restaurants, but not walkable to downtown. Recommendations: Rent a car for a few days to really explore the island. more

Wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. Rooms have been recently renovated, as has the lobby and it exceeded expectations. Pool and grounds are extremely well maintained and there was a large staff on hand catering to our needs. Best thing about this hotel was the newly renovated rooms. Rooms are very modern with LCD tv's and connectivity panel. Rooms are also great in size about 400sq and nice size balcony and bathroom. My husband, 7 year old son, and I just returned from 10 days at the Aruba Marriott Resort and it was wonderful.
