Even though our taxi ride over to the hotel was a little stressful (don't let Margarite drive you!), once we arrived we were sure we made a fantastic choice! ($25 to hotel). Beverly at the front desk was very nice and helpful. She also speaks 4 languages! Kudos to Beverly - she took good care of us. If you can,... more

My gf and I stayed 4 nights at the Marriott Resort on the 7th floor. After reading some reviews we asked for a room not over-looking the atrium (It can get kind of loud). We had a partial beach view from our balcony which was great to sit out on and watch the sun set. We also opted not to... more

Pros: Tradewinds Club level! Fantastic staff. Spacious rooms. Cons: Only 2 elevators operating in May 09. Fortunately, hotel not fully occupied so waits were a minor inconvenience Literally the last hotel on the high-rise hotel beach. Walkable to beach zone restaurants, but not walkable to downtown. Recommendations: Rent a car for a few days to really explore the island. more

I literally just got back from a great stay at the Marriott Aruba Resort (off the plane last night at around 10pm). After visiting a few of the nicer resorts on Palm Beach, I can easily say that the Marriott hands down is the best hotel we say in every aspect. The only negatived occurred when we initially arrived on... more

Wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. Rooms have been recently renovated, as has the lobby and it exceeded expectations. Pool and grounds are extremely well maintained and there was a large staff on hand catering to our needs. Rooms feature the new Marriott bedding, as well as the "Jack Pack" controls hooked up to a 42 inch LCD.... more

Best thing about this hotel was the newly renovated rooms. Rooms are very modern with LCD tv's and connectivity panel. Rooms are also great in size about 400sq and nice size balcony and bathroom. Had booked a limited view room and was upgraded to garden view during check in. Was located on 4th floor above the casino facing the pool.... more

I can not say enough about the Marriott and Aruba. I have traveled many many different places (just in the past 6 months we've gone to Punta Cana, Riviera Maya, Florida, & Las Vegas), and both my husband and I agree that Aruba is our absolute favorite. We went to the Marriott with our rewards points and chose to use... more

We were looking for a relaxing enviorment and we got it- The gentle sound of the surf on the beach and the splashing waterfalls was so suren. The beautiful gardens just topped it off! We had a great time in... more

I stayed with some friends for 5 days, for the Soul Beach event. The hotel had great amenities, with awesome service. The front desk staff is willing to assist with every request, and even made useful suggestions when asked. There were in-house events to keep you busy (i.e pool zumba lessons, daily happy hour, casino action, and plenty others). The... more

My husband, 7 year old son, and I just returned from 10 days at the Aruba Marriott Resort and it was wonderful. It was our third stay at this hotel but our first stay in the Tradewinds Club on the 8th floor. Tradewinds was incredible.... free food and/or snacks along with water, juice, and sodas all day plus mix-your-own drinks... more
