My husband and I just returned from Aruba and we booked the all inclusive through RIU Palance Aruba. I saw some of the negative reviews and took a chance anyway and I am glad. We a partial ocean view suite in a fantastic location on the 8th floor overlooking the pool area and the beach. The room was very well... More

Just got home today from a fantastic holiday at the Riu Palace, Great food, fantastic location right on the beach. Scenery spectacular beach great apart from the sandstorms !! The water was so warm and inviting. We must say we spent most of the time down the beach like other reviews very hard to get beds by the pool. plenty... More

This place was amazing. Dont listen to the bad reviews. The food was fantastic. We tried all the speciality restaurants and our favourite was krystal. However the buffet restaurant was excellent, lots to choose from. The staff were all very pleasant and no complaints of rudeness. We just had a standard room and did not pay extra for any veiw... My wedding day has come and gone and our vacation has come to an end. I religiously followed every post on this forum and I think it is only fair I add my experience to it. It was not as glamorous and pretty as most of the posts and the reality versus the perception of what you think you will... More

A group of my female friends & I attended the Soul Beach Music Festival (May 2012) & we had a blast. The hotel was really nice. The customer service was awesome. The food was good. Our only complaints were the watered down alcohol & the few hours where all you could eat was sports bar food (hot dogs, nachos or... More

Asked for a map or hotel info, agent said they dont give out maps. So we kind of spent the whole week... More

This is our 14th time to Aruba, first time staying here. The really only complaint is no one ever told us in a review, or the website you need long pants and long sleeve shirt to go the specialty reasturants. It is 90 degrees there, who brings long pants. Other than that , we have stayed at the Marriott and... More

Stayed at the Riu the week of May 20th. Room was nice and spacious, 2 double beds, separate sitting room. Only complaint with the room is the Air Conditioning was soooo strong. The food at the San Nicolas buffet was fabulous. Only tried the Italian a la carte restaurant and it was okay, nothing spectacular so we just ate at... More

Rooms had a very musty smell to them. Beds were really hard. Served pretty much the same buffet all 5 days we were there. Food was below average. They needed more music when hanging at the pool all day. The resort employees were great but I'm sorry to say I will never go back.

The hotel is very good the choice of food is excellent the location to shops and restaurants is handy.i recommend you use the restaurants outside especially the Texas De Brazil it's a culinary delight. The people on the island are lovely people. Now for the warning that is exclusive to this hotel. If you treasure a sunshade on the beach... More
