I ve just returned (yesterday) from the Riu Palace Aruba. We both had a wonderful holiday and loved the hotel and most things about it. Having stayed at the Riu Cancun last year we knew roughly what to expect and found this hotel to be much the same. The only real difference was the room service. Maybe this was due... more

Went to Aruba for my Honeymoon. It was the first all inclusive trip for both me and my wife. This was by far one of the best experiences in my life. I had the time of my life. From the time we arrived in the hotel we were greeted with drinks. They had staff ready to welcome all the guest... more

Before I went to Aruba, I read many of the reviews that were posted on this site. Some were good, some bad, some horrible. I have just come from a relaxing week with a family of 5. I am 48, wife 45, kids, 18, 18 and 13. We had two Jr. suites on the 10th floor. The only thing that... more

This review is long overdue. My husband and I stauyed six nights at the RIu Palace Aruba in August 2008 for our honeymoon. We chose Aruba to avoid the hassle of hurricaines. The weather turned out to be great. I simply have to say this resort was absolutely amazing! We thin kit was the best one on the entire island.... more

Stayed here with my husband for our 1st anniversary trip and it was fantastic, the staff were great, the food in both the buffet and a la cartes was great, so much choice. I really cant see why this hotel has negative complaints as both me and my husband were extremely satisfied. The beach is lush but very windy so... more

Recently returned from an amazing trip to Aruba. The Riu was awesome! Most eveyone on the island was friendly and helpful. The resort exceeded my expectations. The food was great, with the exception of the Krystal restaurant that is fusion and serves small portions. The view from the room was excellent! I have never seen such beautiful beaches. Another plus... more

My wife and I have just returned from our stay at the Riu Palace and unfortunately for us it was a real disappointment. This is our second trip to Aruba as my wife wanted to go back to celebrate her 50th. We chose the Riu because it is a newer hotel and thought that because of this it would have... more

The lobby is beautiful and has A/C which is perfect if u want to get away from the heat. There is a casino and a bar and a sports bar in the lobby. The sports bar is open 24/7 and has snacks available all the time. They also have Internet access there ($12 per hour, you have to get the... more

My Husband and I just came back from staying at RIU Palace June 22-26. We were originally booked to go to Mexico but changed our plans because of the recent problems (Highly recommend the Royal Hideaway adults only AI resort in Playa del Car). Let me first say that the beach is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Yes, it is windy--but it was... more

my msot wonderful amazing boyfriend planned this vacation for us as my college graduation present and we both could not have been more pleased with our stay at the Riu. We had initially been booked for the Riu in playa del carmen (Mexico) but switched to Aruba at the last minute because of the swine flu threat (and my overly... more
