Our parents have a timeshare that they traded in for the Aruba property. We stayed in a 2 bedroom lock-off unit. Pros: -Rooms were clean and exactly as expected. Large master bedroom with bathroom attached. Lock off unit had two queen beds and a pullout. -Weather was warm but not unbearable because of the tradewinds -No hurricane danger Cons: -Beach... more

Marriott Surf Club is a crowded nightmare! The building is too large and holds too many people so that both pool and beach have too few chairs and/or space to accomomodate guests. Our room was on the third floor, but it was down a very long hall. Getting to the lobby, pool or beach required lots of inconvinient walking time.... more

1 Week at the Surf Club Feb. 1-8th. Very nice 1 bedroom on the 4th floor of the Lighthouse Tower. Nice view of the Ocean. The room is typical Marriott time share room. Always good quality with Marriott. We own a Marriott timeshare in Orlando. Surf Club is nice but we found the walls of the units to be paper... more

I love the Surf club. We had a fabulous 1 bedroom villa with a fantastic view of the beautiful pool and a view of the ocean. The room was very clean and plenty of room for my husband and me. It was very difficult finding 2 chairs together at the pool after 9am. People go out way early and save... more

I stayed here with a friend while he was doing a tour. The property is nice, but is a typical timeshare. If we stayed in the one bedroom, it would have been much better than the regular studio (hotel room with a fridge) we stayed in. The shower leaked water all over the floor .. only complaint about the room.... more

My parents had bought a timeshare at this property the previous year and invited my husband, my son, and myself to join them on their most recent stay at the property. We stayed in a 2-bedroom, lock-off unit. It was very nice. Everything is very new and well-maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool area and the playground. Only a few... more

The Marriott Surf Club is on the turquoise Caribbean Sea lined with sugar sand beaches. The facilities are practically new and feel every bit that way. This was our first time there, but it won't be our last. We didn't bring our children, but are strongly considering it in the future - the Marriott is quite family friendly. If you... more

The Marriott Surf is beautiful, like all of the other Marriott's we have stayed at. But our room was on the 4th level, with the balcony overlooking the laundry/trash area. Got woke up several mornings early by loud garbage trucks. Not that big of a deal. The beds are excellent, as always. Quiet hallways and rooms, in general. Nice TVs,... more

The Surf Club is probably the best place we have ever stayed in Aruba. This was our second time using our timeshare here and our 12th trip to Aruba. The Master Bedroom has a king bed, ceiling fan, flat TV, large soaking tub, sink with vanity, access to terrace and acess to the main bathroom. The main bathroom has a... more

went to see a timeshare. Did not buy. Hotel beautiful, but very crowded. Pool and beach both crowded. Deep beach but not wide like other properties. My husband and I went alone. Lots of small children. If you like a pool, this is the place to stay, Lazy River and Pool slide. If you go for the beach, like we... more
