My girlfriend and I just returned from Aruba and stayed at the Villas. While its location is excellent and room was decent the overall experience was a letdown. First, the website advertises the room is 120 feet from the ocean. While that is accurate they fail to mention you cannot swim in this area due to lots of rocks and... more

This has been our 19th year in a row at Aruba Beach Villas / Sailboard Vacations which speaks volumes in that we have stayed at the same property for so long in Aruba. Annual upgrades are being made to this property which has always been a joy to our family to see what's new. We enjoy the Beautiful ocean views... more

I stayed at the Aruba Beach Villas with my boyfriend in August 2007. This place was just perfect for us! We stayed in the Ocean View Studio which I highly recommend (over the garden view) for the outstanding sunsets. The room had a small kitchenette area (fridge, sink, microwave, stove, cooking utensils) which was really good for us because we... more

We stayed one week with our 4-year old. My husband took a reasonably priced windsurfing lesson and was hooked. The free use of windsurfing equipment (also snorkeling gear and kayaks) and the excellent lesson and pointers from Arian were the highlights of our stay. There's great windsurfing right in front of the hotel. The beach is not for swimming. Though... more

Great place. Great value, great location, clean, close to the bigger high-rise hotels, restaurants, etc, but far enough away for peace and tranquility, just beside a bus-stop if you don't need to rent a car -- beach and windsurfing just beside you. Friendly staff, lovely small pool and jacuzzi, breakfast incuded. Highly recommended. Second time we have stayed here and... more

The pictures on the hotel website make this look like a nice quaint place that would be away from the throngs of people at the high rise hotels. Well, it was the biggest letdown. The rooms are in desperate need of upgrading. There is NO feeling that you are on vacation. It feels more like you are staying at a... more

We stayed at the Villas for 5 days and loved every minute of it. You really feel like you're in the tropics, with the ocean at your front door. It is a beautiful place. It is neat and clean, and the staff are warm and helpful. The owner, Phil, is extremely knowledgeable about the island and everything Aruba has to... more

Prior to booking a 1 bdrm villa, I had read a lot of reviews on this site. We are budget travelers and seek out exactly the type of place the ABV seems to be. However I was pretty disappointed in the facilities. The bathroom shower curtain had dark mold spots on it. How expensive is that to change? The ceiling... more

My wife and our 24 year son took a two bedroom suite Jan 10-13, 2008. We had a great time. Phil set us up, with kite board lessons that were fun and exciting. We enjoyed the 3 minutes walk down and back to the fisherman huts for our lessons. The suite was very clean, very big and had a beautiful... more
