We stayed at Sandpiper for 4 nights last May for a last-minute getaway. This was a wonderful bargain for Bermuda, especially in high-season when other hotels were 2-3 times the price -- rooms were clean, basic, not fancy, comfortable bed, kitchen was adequate (we only used it for breakfast). We had no security problems. Unlike a hotel, you're on your... more

I am very happy with my choice to stay at Sandpiper. I booked a 9 night stay at the Sandpiper the last week in July. My room was clean and spotless on my arrival and during my stay. The room was very spacious for a studio, although it was 2 of us, I am sure 3 people would be comfortable... more

Was a guest at the Sandpiper and woke up on after the 3rd night of our stay to find the door ajar and our cash missing. The management did not seem the least bit surprised or concerned. Instead they struggled for ways to shift blame instead of being geniunely concerned for the security of their guests and facility. Neither the... more

someone broke into my room while i was sleeping, they used a key. My money was stolen. The manger and the owner, father and daughter were rude. Blamed me. I was told, you are a black american girl and you come to the island and pick up men, that is why you got robbed. They did nothing to help out.... more

We stayed at The Sandpiper for the second time this month. We love the small intamacy of these accommodations. the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. These things brought us back to the sandpiper for a second time. While we were there, a group had booked 3/4 of the place for a 7... more

We stayed at the Sandpiper for a few nights in the 3rd week of July 2007. The rooms are basic, as advertised, and have been described in other rooms. The huge problem with this place is the recurring robberies from rooms. While we were there, 2 young women staying in an adjoining room has their wallets stolen from their room... more

Four middle aged couples recently stayed at the Sandpiper in early July. Time of stay ranged from 5 nights to 8 nights Each couple had been to Bermuda various times before. We found the Sandpiper to be an affordable, simple & clean and centrally located guest house. Some rooms seemed a bit better than others but all were OK. The... more

My husband and I just got back from a 5 night stay at the Sanpiper Inn. We are not fans of large resorts and do not usually take advantage of all that they offer. I was looking for a self-catering room that allowed us to fix breakfast for ourselves and serve as a base for exploring the island. I started... more

We stayed for two nights at the Sandpiper Apartments in Bermuda. This is an inexpensive option for folks that want a kitchen to do their own cooking or reheating of takeout, and to be centrally located on the island near a bus stop, and one of the two Swizzle Inn restaurants. Luxury it is not, but the staff is very... more
