This property is more deserving of the Wyndham brand than Mandarin. Please expect unpolished and borderline bad but VERY friendly service. The property is in desperate need a complete makeover. We just stayed here for a long weekend getaway last week and it was great. (AUG 2009) It is expensive, but so is everywhere else in Bermuda. Try the Sea Horse, restaurant is excellent! I do not recommend staying at Elbow Beach. Yes, the beach is beautiful, but it is not worth the money or aggravation. I found the hotel staff to be incompetent and inconsistent.
