On a very expensive island this hotel is a very cheap alternative. Just be prepared that this is what it is. It is not a new hotel. It is run down and many things need repaired or don't even work. This hotel is on top of a very steep hill which provides a great view of the ocean. The only problem is walking up the hill, especially with the humidity. On arrival Friday afternoon I learned that the pool was empty, the restaurant abandoned, and the doors to the lounge's oceanview terrace locked.
