WE WOULD NOT STAY THERE AGAIN!
We booked this self catering appartment through Bermuda Rentals. The property situated below the owners detached home. The proprietor provided a lovely hamper on arrival and was very nice and welcomming. However, we had a feeling that things were not as they should be. Little things at first like the fridge was not clean and the accomodation was a bit smelly. When we found cockroaches running over the kitchen work top we decided to look more closley! The inside of the cupboards were filthy and contained leaking bottles of sauce etc. The backs of the cupboards were black with mould. The bottom of the wardrobe had piles of dust/cement and had obviously not been cleaned. The shower was in a poor state of repair, with black mould that should have been scrubbed off. The owner had a dog which left excrement on the front lawn. We complained to Bermuda rentals and we found them to be somewhat disbelieving of what we said (we are sending them... more
