Just flown back from Barbados Crystal Cove, when I booked this trip, it was a deal through a national newspaper so was surprised when we arrived at paradise. The rooms are fantastic, all which have a slight sea view, The maid service came late on in the day but who cares when your on the beach all day long. The... more

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a weeks holiday at Crystal Cove, we stayed end of Sept/beginning of Oct and absolutely loved it! We were a little apprehensive after reading some of the bad reviews on here, however, we cannot see what on earth these people are on about, Crystal Cove was amazing! Accommodation - The rooms were... more

My Partner and I stayed at Crystal Cove in Barbados for a week in September this year. Whilst it is not the best hotel we have ever stayed in, I have to say the friendlness and competence of the staff and the quality of the food (given it was an all inclusive hotel) more than made up for it. The... more

I stayed at Crystal Cove with a girlfriend at the beginning of Feb 08, we booked this place as the villa we normally stay at was full, so we had 7 days here. I have to say the staff were fantastic, so welcoming and socialble and he has been mentioned, but Brian was a legend, so helpful and eager to... more

My husband and I stayed at crystal cove for a week at the beginning of our stay in Barbados. We were told this was an AI 4 star hotel. Crystal Cove at best is low end 3 star, and i feel that is being kind!! everything looked shabby except the gardens and pools, staff were rude and unhelpful, and the... more

So disappointed on arrival to see the tatty reception. Staff friendly but room was just ok, not a bit what we expected. Didn't feel that safe at night in the hotel and there is nowhere to stroll around outside. The food was quite ok esp breakfast buffet but would highly recommend a visit to Daphne's for a romantic meal (eating... more

This hotel is awful, the bedrooms and bathrooms are shabby and need major refurbishment. The worst thing about the hotel are the miserable, rude staff. Housekeeping were pleasant and friendly but elsewhere in the hotel you would be lucky to find someone that smiled rather than grunted at you. If you ask for anything be prepared to be looked at... more

We thought that the overall package (booked through Trailfinders) was excellent value for money. A super holiday was had by all! Average family = 2 adults, one girl (13) one boy (nearly 11). Camouflage clothing - DO NOT take any (clothing/bags, etc), it is against the Barbadian law!! We only found this out when checking in our baggage at Gatwick.... more

Just returned from a fantastic two week break to Barbados. We found both the people and the Island extremly friendly and can understand now why people return year after year. The Crystal Cove hotel has a cosy and homely feel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and always willing to oblige. We travelled with our two daughters aged 10... more

My new wife and myself have just return from an excellent 10 days at crystal cove. We also had the opportunity to get married there! Where do we start? originally we we're quite worried after reading quite a few negative reviews about the resort, our answer to this is DO NOT LISTEN to them! This resort is designed for couples... more
