2 friends and I stayed in the apartment called Star Gazer (#1). First floor, overlooking the beach (ON the beach really), with huge balcony AND a massive private roof terrace. The apartment was extremely spacious, with 3 main rooms, a separate kitchen, bathroom and separate loo. 3 single and one double bed. The location is amazing, small white sand beach,... more

Everyone there is so kind and laid back. It's such a relaxing place. You can lay in lawnchairs all day and watch the surf or get out into the surf. They rent great surfboards and the rooms are really nice. The local buses go right past there so you can get anywhere on the island really easily. After spending a... more

Surfer's Point Guesthouse was amazing. Upon arrival Claudia made us feel welcomed by greeting us by name. We stayed in the Conch shell room which was perfect for us. It was affordable, simple, very clean and beachy:) Our small kitchenette was great for making breakfast or lunch and had everything we needed. The view from the room was beautiful and... more

We stayed at Surfers Point for my son's 18th and had an awesome time. Surfers point was the most amazing location and so chilled - waking up and hearing the surf was incredible and the views were breathtaking. Thanks to Melinda for making us all feel welcome. Zed was the best surf instructor ever, we all stood during our 1st... more

I took three days of lessons from Zed's Surfing Adventures with my wife and my two college kids in the beginning of January. We surfed at Freights which is a short distance away from Surfer's Point. It is the best beginner spot I have ever seen. The waves were perfect lefts with an occasional right and all in a beautiful... more

My partner and I stayed at Surfers Point, in the Inches Apartment, from 22nd January to 5th February 2009 and had an absolutely brilliant time. From the moment we arrived, Melinda and Zed were so friendly and welcoming, with really helpful advice on the local area and were always on hand to help us out, with things such as hiring... more

My wife and I just returned from a two week stay (9 - 23 January 2009) at the Surfer's Point Guest House (in the Driftwood unit). Zed and his staff were very hospitable, the weather was great and an excellent beach is only meters away...what more do you need! While the Driftwood unit is simply appointed, it's clean and has... more

My girlfriend and I had our first stay at Surfer’s Point at the beginning of October 2008. This was our first time, but it certainly will not be our last. It was the best vacation we’ve had in a very long time, with everyone at Surfer’s Point and Zed’s surfing school making us feel welcome and making sure we had... more

Disclosure - I've spent a lot of time at Surfer's Point, but I haven't slept there. My husband and I have a timeshare which we go to each year and we've been renting boards from Zed for a while now. We hang out at Surfer's Point a lot because it is such a relaxing, inviting location. The view is insane,... more

Just got back from our honeymoon at Surfer’s point and loved it! Location: Surfer’s point is located in a little neighborhood east of Oistens on the south side of Barbados. It is not in the tourist area – which is exactly what we enjoyed most about this place. It’s peaceful and quiet and not crowded. There is a little lagoon... more
