This government owned hotel is overstaffed with sullen and rude staff who have the most dreadful attitude problem - reception being particularly bad tempered. For the experienced traveler..this hotel is perfect! There is charm and a certain peacefulness which makes you want to book another night and then another. We have just returned from a very relaxing stay at The Savannah, Barbados. The original part of the hotel was built in the 18th century and is full of charm and character. The later part is more modern but still in keeping with the general feel of the hotel. The pool area is small, so probably not ideal for families.... more
