At first glance, the hotel looks like it hasn't been redone since the 70s when it was very popular with airline people. Chairs in the lobby are tired, the corridors are poorly lit and cavernous, the pool is dirty, the elevator is small and old.Our room was sparse; the bathroom dated back 30 years! Stayed at the Accra for two weeks in January and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is right on one of the best beaches on the island and well located for Bridgetown, airport and restaurants. A car is unnecessary as it is on a main bus route and taxis are easy. The facilities are excellent and the service is typically Barbadian.... more

Our stay was from Dec 21-Jan1. The first week the hotel was running at 25% capacity, however, the second week was overflowing with people. The property is large and ideally situated on Rockley Beach. Pros Fabulous location. Ideal for men, women and teenagers. Rockley Beach beautiful and very clean. Nice big rooms, cold fridge, fabulous views of sea and pool. This island is very beautiful and incroyable. I lived on another ile of the caraibe and openly the water of the sea of this is simply exceptionally blue turquoise a true magic, it is a dream to live there all what I can say. A weak point it is more expensive. more

we stayed at this hotel two families with teenage children . I can not fault this hotel it was very clean, spacious rooms, lovely pool and situated right on a beautiful white beach. We have stayed at this hotel on more than one occasion by necessity not choice. Most rooms are in need of a renovation, apart from the pool and access to the beach this is an overpriced 2-3 star hotel.
