We have just returned today 29th June 2009 and just had to write a review for those going out to the ACB in the coming months. We arrived on the 14th June from manchester traveling with Virgin, private transfer by a lovely 4X4 and driver who got us to the resort in under 15mins. Arrived at the hotel and was... more

My new wife and I have just returned from our honeymoon in Barbados and stayed in the Casuarina Beach. Our first impressions could'nt have been better. We were welcomed to the resort with cool towels and a glass of Rum Punch. What better way to kick off your Caribbean adventure? We were shown to our room shortly after arriving and... more

On arrival you are greated with a fruit punch and cold towel and are quickley taken to your room and asked to fill in your details and return the form the following day. We were in block 5 which is the furthest from the beach but the walk is attractive via the gardens. The food in the main was excellent... more

The food was great and we loved all our meals, we ate in all the 3 restaurants and only had one delay in being served. You... more

Well my husband booked us into this hotel before reading the reviews here and to be honest we were afraid that we made a terrible mistake! I decided that I would mentally prepare myself for a Tunisian experience (I was once incarcerated half board for a week there. Therapy and alcohol helped me through the pain!) We were in a... more

This hotel is situated on a very nice sandy beach which should meet most peoples expectations, the hotel rooms are all of a high standard but some offer better views than others this reflects on the price you pay. There are three pools, two for the kids one large one for adults only. The biggest draw back with this resort is... more

We went to Casuarina last year when it opened and it just wasn't ready. We have always had great holidays in Barbados and several times at Almond resorts, so decided to give it another chance. The reviews made us apprehensive as it appeared that some of the initial problems were still present. However from the the greeting at the airport,... more
